Bull of Oreoi

Marble bull, from 4th century B.C. funerary monument. The statue was raised from the sea in the harbour of Oreoi, Euboia, in 1965.  The bull is represented standing, in a position of attack, with the head bent. The lower part of the legs, below the knees, and the horns are missing.
